Audrey - Girl with the super clean white horse

Audrey was a special person who went out of her way to help people. Shan had lessons with Aud and Aud even offered to pick her up for school so she could have a lesson, I mean who does that anymore - but that was Aud, anything she could do to help. I'll always remember that infectious giggle and quick smile, the quick witted responses at the pony club meetings. She will be greatly missed and while leave a gap I don't know that can ever be filled at pony club. I did have to laugh at her furiously scrubbing Clouds hocks at pony club, to get those grass stains off, but honestly how did she keep that horse so white! We love you Aud, you were taken too soon.

18 July - Eyreton PC ODE

Bad start to morning, almost didn't go. Got there 30min late, thank god for Helen who groomed Lace while I got gear and back number. Not bad dressage test, considering I'd not ridden in a week but Shannon had since she was on hols. Managed to get 3rd to Helen's 1st. Clear SJ even though really slippery, but broke little finger (hence short blog), XC clear but slow, if I'd been closer to time would have been 2nd but came home with 3rd instead. Had fun is the main thing, and Lace was perfect angel and looked after me.
